Understand The Assignment

One of the most common reasons why students fail to complete assignments is because they do not understand what is being asked of them.  All too often students are too shy to ask for help, concerned with what the teacher might say or they convince themselves that they know more than than think.

For this action step, consider making sure you completely understand the assignment.  If need be ask your teacher or someone else for help so that you can understand the assignment.  Stay after school or arrive early if need be but make sure you understand as much as possible for you begin working on the assignment.
