Track Goals

After you have created your goals you should consider keeping track of them.  This allows you to figure out next steps and helps you focus on what needs to be done.  Something as simple as writing them down on a piece of paper or on a calendar will keep you focused and motivated to work towards your goals each day.

 

Tracking goals is a critical task to consider as you look to think more effectively, take action and grow both personally and professionally.   Without measuring your progress is it difficult to know in which direction you are moving.

 

For this action step, consider looking at one of your goals, either short-term or long-term, and write out as many steps that are involved with that goal.  While this may change as you work towards your goal, having a list allows you to track your progress on a daily basis.  If possible, place your steps on your calendar so they are built in to your daily schedule.
