Staying current with the news in your industry, regardless of what position you are in, is an important skill to practice.  Staying current can help you think more effectively, take action and grow both personally and professionally.

For this action step, consider spending 15 minutes today reading something new about your industry.  Being a professional means staying abreast of what is happening in your field.  If you believe you know everything about your industry this might be a challenge but if you can openly admit you have something to learn you just might!  You can then take what you learned and think of different ways that it might apply to your job or company.
