that professional development is directly linked to personal growth. No organization can achieve and sustain growth today until it realizes that its future depends upon the continual personal
development of its people. Trying to accomplish anything wthout helping employees develop their personal traits and habits will often result in less than stellar results. One
such area that people need to work on is their ability to focus amidst so many daily distractions.
Thrughout the normal course of a day there are many distractions that deter people from accomplishing even the smallest of tasks. Even though many people would argue that modern day technology serves as our biggest distraction, keep in mind that Alexander Graham Bell the inventor of the telephone, considered his investion a tremendous distraction. In fact, Bell refused to allow a phone in his office! So turn off all devices, find some quiet space and for today's action step, work on intentionally staying focused.
