Learning from Experiences

Learning from experience is an important task to consider as you look to think more effectively, take action and grow both personally and professionally. Whether you are an employee trying to improve your professional skills, an individual trying to develop your personal traits or a student trying to perform better in school, learning from your experiences is an important ability to maintain and practice.
For this action step, consider reading about Kolb's model of experiential learning located at this link. Go through the model and then apply a real world situation to it. Doing so allows you to understand a process you can apply moving forward in order to
learn from your experiences. If you are a manager and want to teach this to your employees, consider having them work through the model together
so they can capture learnings from a project they just completed.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
