Have A Bias Towards Action

Thinking is easy, acting is difficult, and to put one's thoughts into action is the most difficult thing in the world.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Having a bias towards action is an important task to consider as you look to think more effectively, take action and grow both personally and professionally. Many people are hesitant to take any type of action. Fear of failure, rejection or the unknown often drive people to not act. Whether you are an employee trying to improve your professional skills, an individual trying to market your value or a student trying to perform better in school, having a bias towards action is an important ability to maintain and practice.
For this action step consider thinking about something that you would like to do
today, no matter how small, write it down and then figure out what action steps you can take to work towards it. Include as many steps as you can think of and then have a bias
towards action and do as many of those small steps as you can. If need be, carry whatever steps you need to do to the next day. But just remember, have a bias towards
action.
