Discuss Ideas More

Remember the old saying “Big people talk about ideas, average people talk about things and small people talk about other people.”  It’s easy to talk about others so do what is more difficult.  Discuss more ideas and work towards an appreciation of what is new and novel.  When discussing ideas you increase the ability to uncover things that might help with your task

For this action step, consider reading an article about an idea that might be foreign to you.  For example, if you are in the business world, consider reading an article about what is going on across college campuses today.
