Our History

2005-2006: Drs. Abramo and Edmondson launch MEAPA and begin empowering biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies using its proprietary and innovative I-MAP process. During this time MEAPA publish its first book, BioStory:How To Assess A Biomedical Product As A Business Opportunity as well as several articles for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.


2006-2007: Due to increased demand and interest, MEAPA expands its portfolio to include empowering other types of technology companies as well as various other small businesses. During this time MEAPA published its second book 10+1: The Creative Economy Marketing Equation as  well as several articles for small businesses and entrepreneurs.


2007-2008: Economic development officials and community leaders looking for new and innovative services to help achieve and then sustain growth started to discuss their needs with MEAPA.  During this time MEAPA published its third book Innovation and Community Empowerment: Creating A 21st Century Empowered Community as well as several articles for economic development officials, civic leaders and other stakeholders.


2009-present: After four years of progress and growth, MEAPA realized that its process of teaching people how to think had a universal appeal to economic development officials, civic leaders, business executives, entrepreneurs, school administrators, teachers, other adults as well as students.   As a result of the continued interest from a wide variety of people and organizations, MEAPA repositioned itself to focus on its mission of Challening Minds, Compelling Action, Empowering Growth.
